During 2011 the bank approached Allen International, a strategic design consultancy focused on the financial sector, to develop a new brand image that compliments their latest core banking system and retail experience. ID became the local consultant for Bank al Etihad, working closely and collaborating with Allen International on the first three pilot branches. ID then took over and continued implementing and enhancing the new branding throughout all other branches.
ID collaborated with high-end security design establishments to ensure international standards are met. The design went beyond capturing a modern aesthetic, securing the establishments with the utmost architectural security and safety services as well. Our scope was not only limited to renovating and building new branches, it also expanded to disaster recovery and training centers, as well as the expansion and renovation of the bank's headquarters in Shmeisani, Amman to adapt with the new branding efforts and remain consistent with its branches.
